#adminchat Makes Debut on December 2nd

For the past few months, I have been trying to get a Twitter chat started for school administrators. The idea was to create a chat that focused on issues and solutions that face school administrators every day. As a result of the collaborative efforts of myself, @JaimeStacy and @dwasnock, #vaadminchat was born. We had some limited successes, but it seemed that interest waned after a few weeks. So we tweaked, changed the date and time, did a few other things and kept trying. We continued to have limited success. So I figured that something else had to be done. So today, I am announcing that #vaadminchat will become #adminchat. The hope is that we will broaden the participation and draw more school administrators and those seeking to become administrators. I also hope that we will bring in participants from across the country and eventually the globe.

The first #adminchat will be December 2nd at 9 PM EDT. Our first topic will “Time Management Tips and Tricks for School Administrators”. By The end of the day November  18, I will have the questions posted and more information on this web site. Look for the tab at the top of the page for “#adminchat”.

Please join us. Not only that, please help spread the word. This will be a great way to expand your PLN and connect with school administrators from across the country. Please retweet this blog and help us get a big turnout for the inaugural Twitter chat #adminchat.
