Testing Season is Now Open

As we roll into April, our school has finished planning for the upcoming standardized testing season. Our division has several tests leading up to the Standards of Learning tests. We had benchmark testing, simulation SOL testing and finally the actual tests. We had a total of 5 computer labs and about 4 portable labs. When we finished looking at the calendar, we determined that there is not one day between now and June 12 that we are not testing kidskin some fashion. So my question to you is this: Have we gone too far? I understand the need for accountability, but we have no computer labs available for instruction for the remainder of our school year. How does your school and/or division handle the monster that testing has become?
